Founded in 2009 by Aldo Pena and Rodney Carney, Passive First was born from a simple belief: passive fire protection done right saves lives. With backgrounds in construction and fire safety, Aldo and Rod saw an industry gap — buildings across Sydney lacked properly installed and maintained firestop systems.
Today, Passive First is one of Sydney’s most trusted names in passive fire protection. Our team of Competent Fire Safety Practitioners (CFSP) has completed over 500 projects across commercial towers, hospitals, schools, strata complexes, and government buildings.
